Rear Detachment Brigade Operations Officer for a 2,700 Paratrooper Brigade Combat Team during a deployment to OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE. Plans, controls, and executes mission operations for the Brigade. Prepares all operations orders, warning orders, and fragmentary orders. Prepares detailed plans which support execution of policies and strategy. Determines training needs of the Brigade and prepares and supervises training to support those needs. Establishes policies and standards for unit readiness and supervises unit efforts to meet readiness standards. Establishes the composition of forces required to support plans, from the fiscally constrained force to the resourced force level.

Brigade Engineer Planner for a 4,300 paratrooper Brigade Combat Team while charged with a global mission to deploy within 18 hours to support the 82nd Airborne Division as the Global Response Force (GRF). Plans and synchronizations mobility, counter-mobility, survivability, and general engineering operations in support of the BCT during Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) and operations. Responsible for processing, tracking, and management of the facilities and construction projects for the Brigade. Additional Duty as the 2BCT Environmental Compliance Officer.

Battalion adjutant in a 583 Soldier Brigade Engineer Battalion consisting of six companies with administrative control of one Clearance Company. Serves the Commander across a wide range of duties; manages the Commander’s daily schedule by scheduling appointments, briefings, and meetings, to avoid conflicts; highlights events important to the Commanders, serves as the liaison between the Commander, Company Commanders, staff, outside units, and civilian organizations. Additionally serves as the Battalion's Voting Assistance Officer, Public Affairs Officer, and Unit Status Reporting (USR) Officer.

Officer in Charge of a Company Intelligence Support Team for a 148 Soldier Route Clearance Company attached to 1st Battalion, 36th Infantry Regiment (Stryker) deployed in support of OPERATION FREEDOM’S SENTINEL. Responsible leading an eight Soldier team, manning and equipping the command post while battle tracking all patrols and describing the effects of the weather, enemy, terrain, and local population on friendly operations to reduce uncertainty and aid in decision making while providing daily threat briefs to Soldiers and leaders as a part of mission briefs and collect data maintaining intelligence boards, the common operational picture and advises the Commander on intelligence-related matters. Synchronized and liaised with two maneuver task forces, two force protection companies from the Czech republic, two light infantry battalions from Georgia, and two explosive ordinance disposal companies ensuring complete and effective clearance of all patrols operating in the Bagram Ground Defense Area (BGDA).

Platoon leader of a Route Clearance Platoon (RCP) comprised of 31 Combat Engineer Soldiers, two Buffaloes, four Huskies, four HMMWVs, two parts kits, and multiple sets kits and outfits. On order, deploy the Platoon and provide route clearance support to contingency missions worldwide. Responsible for all aspect of training, planning, and executing route clearance missions, and daily operation of the Platoon in order to ensure combat readiness. Manage the discipline, accountability, professional development, moral, and welfare of 31 Soldiers and families in the Platoon. Safeguard accountability and maintenance of $8M dollars in vehicles and specialized engineer equipment.
