There are 4 pillars to my role as VP and Director of Government and Industry Affairs. I am responsible for establishing strong professional relationships with high level customer, industry, community and government representatives. The role is expected to seed our corporate brand in the US and support Schlumberger to maximize the combined reach with stakeholders to guide the long-term value proposition of the company.

I am responsible for developing and managing the Chevron account sales strategy execution (with Division/Basin) to drive customer success, deliver an outstanding customer experience, and to maximize mutual value creation. The GAD maintains a thorough understanding of the account’s operational, technical and procurement organizations, and drives customer and Schlumberger success by influencing customer strategy. The GAD also maintains a thorough understanding of Schlumberger’s technical offering across all Business Lines and Divisions seeking opportunities for integrated solutions. This role ensures Schlumberger is viewed as the performance partner of choice by coordinating across organizational silos when beneficial for both parties.

I am leading the D&M Measurements (LWD) portfolio, and as such, my objective is to provide strategic direction, leadership, competency development and positioning within this domain. We are boosting the competency of the D&M segment in LWD, and Measurements as a whole, utilizing a vast arsenal of differentiating new technologies that we recently introduced to the market. I am also active in client engagements as a champion for the Measurements side of the D&M business. All of this requires the business alignment of our technical and sales organizations, specifically in key areas of revenue growth, increased pricing, tender wins, process quality, service deliverables, and customer aligned KPIs. Additionally my role is to oversee the Technology Road Map for Measurements and I am responsible for the execution of longer-term real-time service offerings (with our Petrotechnical Services segment) as well as support of the alignment of marketing efforts with Wireline and Geoservice. In addition, I am the acting sponsor for the Well Placement Special Interest Group for Schlumberger.
