Hi, my name is Bruce Mitchell and I am a software developer with experience in the full stack of technologies used in modern day Development. My passion for technology and development began at an early age, I taught myself the basics of Java and using OpenGL I created my first game at the age of 15. Websites and big data were my next passion, I spent countless late school nights building websites and understanding designs patterns and protocols to account for mass scalability requirements. After completing my BSc in Computer Science, I began working in the banking industry doing data analysis and building fully fledged insurance policy acquisition, management and reporting software.I have since moved into the gaming industry, where I have found my passion in web development. Majority of which has been front end based. I have been tech leading a team of developers for 6 years, being proficient in all required design practices and technologies. I have mentored many junior developers and continue to do so.Technologies I currently work with include:Javascript ES6AngularJSReactVueJSUnityPhaserTypescriptNodeJSPixiJSWebpackPUGSASSPythonSQLAzureAWS

We can only know what we choose to know. I also follow many podcasts from conferences around the world. I have been through training courses with speakers such as Juval Lowy - Architecture Master Class, and I attended Websummit in Portugal in 2017, and am attending QCon 2018 in New York towards the end of June.I have been building systems and applications for the past 5 years in my own time. Having successfully completed 3 fully fledged systems integrated with various 3rd party vendors, these were developed on a contractual basis. I have built a host of feature rich mini games, and my own business scheduling management system. All of these were designed and built by myself and they can be made available for you to see on request. The above systems were built on a variety of technologies specific to their requirements and their date of inception. Some of the earlier systems were built with MVC and ASP.NET service architecture and SQL Server. While the more recent projects were created using a variation of more modern technologies and frameworks such as AngularJS, React, VueJS, ASP.NET, Web API and MongoDB as well as Database Azure 2012.
