Graduated from RMIT in 1974 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (1977) worked at Hungerford Spooner and Kirkhope as an auditor/accountant from 1974 to 1977 and William Buck & Co as a manager until 1978. 1979 joined MBS Loss Adjusters as an Accounting Adjuster..Director and Company Secretary to MBS Group. Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (UK) by examination in 1984. Advanced to Fellow ( FCILA) in 1989.In 1992 with 3 colleagues commenced Robertson & Company and over next 10 years added offices in most mainland states and employed 200 adjusters and support staff.In 2002 accepted takeover offer from Crawford and Company and in the next 9 years a Director of the Australian operation and after stepping down from the Board in 2012 continued as an Executive Loss Adjuster until I retired in 2015 after a career in the Insurance Industry of some 36 years.Since retirement consulted to a variety of Insured's. Joined Technical Assessing in May 2019.
