Seeing others discover how to make their work easier and better has been a passion for years. Whether it was in rebuilding airplanes or seeing how procurements could be done in a better way, seeing the results of providing others with the means to see and eliminate waste has been nothing but rewarding. As a Continuous Improvement Coach, I work with others to help understand what good performance means to them, then assisting them in identifying obstacles that are in the way. Using lean process improvement methods along with a variety of problem solving techniques, I lead teams in self-improvement efforts. By facilitating conversations, asking the hard questions, and then offering a structured approach to improvement, I’ve been able to take difficult problems and turn them into successful processes. Possessing a varied background from military, government and non-profits, I offer a diversified portfolio of process experience and the ability to work with unique team dynamics. A Lean Silver Certified practitioner, I have proven my abilities to look systematically at processes and find the connections between local activities to benefit the customer and the process participants. I enjoy training, both in a classroom environment and using just-in-time lessons, and have been able to provide others with the desired level of understanding for their situation.Key skills and capabilities:Lean LeaderGroup facilitationAnalyticsStrategic planningCause AnalysisCoachingLean Six SigmaMicrosoft Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, PublisherMinitab
