Island Community Church began as an ocean-front house church in Islamorada in the Florida Keys. Later the church moved to a rented former Post Office building owned by the Russell family. Some years later in answer to prayer, the church received a donation to purchase the 450 seat Cinemorada movie theater and later still purchased a seven-acre parcel to build a 15,000 sq. ft. facility for the Island Christian School.

Radio talk-show host on three Florida Keys stations. Format was thirty-minute interview style of various kinds of “sceptics” of Christianity and the Bible.

Registrar for a 1,000+ student college. Duties included domestic and international admissions, academic record-keeping, administering college class scheduling and enrollment procedures and initiating transition from paper to main-frame electronic record-keeping.

College instructor of Old and New Testament Bible courses plus public speaking and church polity. During this time the college enrolled over 1,000 students and purchased and relocated to the 600 room former Hollywood Beach Hotel (built in 1920) on Hollywood Beach in south Florida.
