Responsibilities include assisting in the securing of localauthority approvals; interfacing with environmental and air quality agencies,direction and coordination of all trade subcontractors, oversight of OSHA safetycompliance and reporting, daily construction activity reporting, subcontractoroversight and construction management. Prepared a construction phasing plan, in conjunction with plant operations personnel. Developed a project plan with client to execute the project schedule, delineating each subcontractors milestones to achieve the expected dates implemented a proactive safety program. Developed a plan for special coordination issues with the client and other trades. Conducted weekly jobsite coordination meetings. Reviewed any plant shutdowns, changeovers or system startups and coordinated in detail with the affected subcontractors at the meeting. Provided a two-week, project look-ahead schedule to review upcoming activities and the coordination necessary to facilitate their occurrence. Monitored on-site testing and inspection services as directed by the local codes and the engineer. Managed and coordinated daily on-site construction activities.

Complete all duties as a GC project manager. to include Bidding ,writing contracts and PO. Supervise field personnel and subs. approved all invoices in AIA forms. Attend all walk though. Most of work was for Gov. VA projects.

Managed an array of projects through all phases from developing requirements to commissioning for Xerox Campus. Project types included manufacturing facility upgrades, utility equipment installations (Chillers, Air handlers, Cooling tower, Boilers), office and laboratory renovations, along with security systems, call centers and communication network projects. Project budgets ranged from $5K to over $12 Million. The duties performed for this position included, but were not limited to: Assisting clients with the development of their requirements, budgets and schedules. Organizing and facilitating project teams to achieve client’s requirements.  Purchasing engineering services to develop scope of work documents for contractor biding.  Managing contractor bidding process, selection of contractors and vendors, along with awarding contracts.  Construction Management services through the life of the field implementation; change order process, field clarification notices, progress payments, safety inspections, etc. Experienced with union contractors. Managing engineering, contractors and equipment vendors through commissioning. Project close out phase; obtaining as-built drawing, maintenance documents, spare parts, operations manuals and etc.

 Worked with all Kraft‘s engineers, operating departments and supervisor of capital projects to Evaluate, Plan, and design facilities. Met clients’ cost, schedule and safety goals.
