Growing up in a family-run business focused on hospitality and lifestyle instilled three qualities in me: 1) an entrepreneurial spirit; 2) a strong business acumen; and 3) a passion for relationship building. Those qualities have served me exceptionally well in a transcendent career. I joined the San Jose Sharks in 1999 after spending 4 years at ARAMARK in the Culinary and Suites Catering Operations. The Sharks recognized my strong work ethic and rewarded me with increasing scale and scope of responsibilities over my 21-year tenure, leading to my most recent job as the executive overseeing arena suite sales, service, corporate sponsorships and alumni relations. This role sharpened my customer relations, P&L, negotiating, union labor and vendor management skills. A quarter century of investing in my growth is now paying dividends.Prior to the conclusion of my tenure with the San Jose Sharks organization, I realized my true passion was to become founder, investor and principal manager of Sluice Boxx LLC. An instrument that provides growth opportunities to strategic partners and investors in the sports & entertainment and technology industries. With a goal to eliminate pain points and add value, the Sluice Boxx portfolio aims to integrate new and disruptive technology to enhance fan, guest and employee experiences and safety.
