About Bruce Roush

I'm passionate about software implementations with over 25 years proven experience managing custom and packaged software project implementation teams (directly or in an oversight capacity). I've worked for a start-up software company, start-up services organization and in a large worldwide services organization with hundreds of people. • Started and grew the Kofax Professional Services practice in 6 years from 2 Consultants into a multi-million dollar services organization with 17 team members (managing 3 Project Managers and 13 Consultants/Architects). I ultimately reorganized the group into 3 teams each headed by a PS Manager/Director who reported up to the VP of Professional Services.• Project Manager for hundreds of projects ranging from $10,000's with one or two local resources to over one million dollars with a dozen resources located in different regions of the globe.• Managed a portfolio of Fortune 500 accounts and projects and was the first level contact for escalations with a focus on being the customer advocate while also managing expectations.• Worked with the sales team to position, scope and estimate implementation services creating SOWs.• Established Best Practices for all phases of the implementation including Presales Qualifying/Scoping, Project Initiation, Design, Development, Implementation and Hand-Off; plus Status Reporting, Scope Change Management, Project Time Tracking, Expense Tracking, and Billing.• Personnel responsibilities included hiring, employee development, mentoring, performance reviews, terminations (if necessary) and promotions. Some of the employee development paths/promotions over time included: two Project Managers and two Solutions Architects were promoted to PS Managers, Consultants were promoted to Senior Consultants, Principle Consultants and Architects.• Willing to travel.
