Starting in 1980 Bruce spent the first 12 years of his career working in the public sector building some of first Cable TV communication system infrastructure in the State of Wisconsin. In 1988 Bruce held the position of Chief Engineer at Com Source Communications building contracted turnkey utilities. This included fiber optic, microwave, and wireless infrastructure throughout the US for the Cable TV & Telephone Industry. In 2000 Bruce formed Access Engineering, LLC placing an emphasis on building communications infrastructure for Wisconsin Communities. For the last 14 years these communities have enjoyed the benefits of owning their own infrastructure, releasing the burden of on-going lease fees while having the ability to provide high bandwidth solutions. For the last year Bruce has worked with the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians conducting a Tribal Apprenticeship Course which is studying the feasibility of deploying Broadband in Lac du Flambeau, Vilas County, and portions of Iron and Oneida Counties. During this Apprenticeship Course Bruce has also assisted in the formation of Ogema Communications, LLC - a Tribally Owned Utility.
