I am actively pursuing a new job where I can make a difference in Safety with fewer hours and travel than required in the pipeline business. I have a wide variety of skills and I am a long way from being able to or desire to retire.- I have worked in safety directly for about 15 years, prior to which I spent seven years working in training, and 20 years as a process operator/power engineer.- I have my OH&S Certificate from the University of Alberta- I have written a wide variety of safety manuals and more importantly I have trained the companies in the use of the required systems to receive their Certificate Of Recognition (COR).Specialties: I have worked in a broad range of Safety jobs in a wide variety of industries and I know how to deal with people I have a very broad base of safety skills due to this exposure.I enjoyed working at Enbridge Pipelines, we rebuilt the safety culture with DuPont and then evolved it to fit our industry. I have another 8 to 10 years of work left in me and I love challenges, so if you need someone to help develop a new or refreshed program, I could enjoy the challenge and a change.I have been working in Construction Safety for Kelly's Services at the Dow Chemical Fort Saskatchewan site from March 16 till April 23rd, 2020, and in August 2021. I returned to the DOW site to do shutdown safety for Chemco. I have enjoyed the experience. Looking for new challenges as an employee or a contractor, in any type of industry, and I'm a bargain and will work for any reasonable offer. I have experience with ISNetworld, and Canqual and I have developed lots of training in everything from Incident Investigation to Gas Detection to Safety Legislation.Thank you
