McNally Construction Inc. / Peel Region, East to West Diversion Sanitary Trunk Sewer (2020 – Present) Project Manager, Primary Installer. The Regional Municipality of Peel intends to construct of a sanitary gravity trunk sewer connecting the East Trunk System to the West Trunk System. The sewer will have an inner diameter of 2400 mm and stretch approximately 11 km. The scope includes installation, maintenance, monitoring, reporting, and decommissioning of the prescribed number of instruments in the Project, air quality monitoring, and geotechnical instrumentation. The project involves the installation, monitoring, and decommissioning of geotechnical instrumentation to support the construction of the Ashbridges Bay Treatment Plant Outfall project. The scope of work includes the installation and monitoring of a variety of instrumentation at the surface, in the shaft, and in the tunnel via an automated network of dataloggers programmed to complete regular monitoring with integrated alarm functionality. The scope also includes six (6) tunnel instrumentation arrays. In total, 6 INC, 3 VPZ, 2 DBM, 60 SPBX, 60 PC, 6 RDLC, and 108 SG were installed.
