In this role I started working on the harbour talbot project, but with the project being deferred during the covid pandemic I diversified my role to include supporting multiple Norwegian continental shelf projects with last minute vessel changes and also managing the quayside engineering and logistics support in order to keep the vessels from having covid outbreaks. In addition to this I also wrote a report evaluating the feasibility of laying electrical cables with TFMCs existing fleet. In December 2021 I returned to the Karish project to back fill the Assistant project manager role following a round of promotions. My immediate responsibility was to ensure we could negotiate the covid restrictions and mobilise personnel to Cyprus in order to join the deep blue and skandi acergy to complete the lazy wave riser pre-installation scope. I successfully mobilised and demobilised over 120 people to Cyprus at the height of the pandemic and avoiding any outbreaks on the vessels. Following on from the riser pre-installation scope I moved directly onto the FPSO hook up scope. During this time I played a key role interfacing between the FPSO build team, the client, our moorings sub contractor and our own internal SURF installation team. During the offshore phase I deputised for the Project manager on multiple occasions and coordinated the recovery from multiple challenging offshore issues leading to the successful completion of the SURF scope and first gas for the project. Post first gas on the project I took over the role of PM and dealt with all the final commissioning and punch list items before closing out the project.On completion of Karish I then took on the role of project operations manager on a deep water west of Shetland project.

Worked on Hurricane Lancaster project, the first iEPCI project in the UK for technipfmc. My roll on the project was vessel construction lead and I was responsible for all SURF construction activities both diving and diverless. My role was to manage my team to produce all the procedural methodologies for the installation and procure all the hardware to be installed. This included a four slot gravity base manifold, 2x flexible flow lines and pliant wave risers including ancillaries, a static to dynamic umbilical including ancillaries and 2 x flexible jumpers. I worked with my team on site, first in Dubai populating the floating buoy with bend stiffener connector systems and then followed the progress offshore onto the Normand vision to conduct all the flexible product installation including cross haul and pull in of the risers into the submerged buoy. Finally I assisted the client with pull in and spool tie in to the FPSO and XT commissioning.On completion of the Hurricane Lancaster project I moved onto the Energean Karish project taking up the roll of moorings installation package lead. In this roll I was responsible for managing the moorings installation sub-contract and interfacing with the mooring equipment design and fabrication team.

Responsible for management and delivery of the project & installation engineering activities for the installation of multiple dynamic and static control umbilicals and also the production flexible risers for the Jangkrik development east of Borneo Indonesia. I was predominantly based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia but frequently travelled to Jakarta for interface meetings with the client.

Responsible for the installation engineering for riser pre-installation using the North Sea Atlantic construction vessel including being first time user of the OVLS pipelay tower and subsequent recovery and cross-haul to the Glen Lyon FPSO using the Viking Neptun construction vessel on the BP Quad204 project. A harsh environment deep water oil and gas development west of Shetland During this time I developed multiple installation aids from concept through to fabrication in order to facilitate the complex two part bend stiffener build. These included a splined alignment guide designed to ensure no damage was done to the bolts during alignment of the worlds largest two part bend stiffener. I also developed the concept for modifications to the Technip VLS5 pipelay tower again to enable the system to be able to handle and build the bend stiffener and bend stiffener connector system within the tower.

Responsible for managing the installation engineering package for dynamic riser cross haul, lay down and recovery from the Schiehallion FPSO using the fugro symphony construction vessel and Technip owned VLS6 pipelay system. In addition to this I was also responsible for developing and documenting the methodology in procedural format for dynamic riser cross haul and lay down using the Normand installer construction vessel. This scope was completed on a very tight time line following a late client instruction. Both vessels performed well and completed the scope safely and as planned
