Passionate people leader who has been part of the management team at Vermeer Corporation for 26 of 28 years of service at Vermeer. Currently an Operation Manager, overseeing all operations of the Environmental manufacturing team in Pella Iowa and Freeman South Dakota. I began my career at the shop floor level, starting out as an Assembler. While working full time as an Area Manager I went back to school to achieve my B.A. in business at William Penn University. My passion with Manufacturing is driven by a love for people and the desire to continue my education and Lean Manufacturing knowledge. My personal goal is to meet customer demand with products they want, when they need it by following the Global Production System principles. A key component to this goal is to develop and promote my staff to be lean leaders who can respond to an ever changing business environment.Specialties: Ability to be resilient and flexible to ever changing needs of the business.
