I frequently write about BPMN and DMN on my website methodandstyle.com and the Trisotech blog. My consulting engagements focus on Business Automation services using BPMN and DMN using the Trisotech platform, largely in the area of mortgage and other fintech. This platform allows subject matter experts to create executable cloud REST services without programming.In addition, I host an annual conference called bpmNEXT that showcases the next generation of process innovation technology. Before starting Bruce Silver Associates in 1994 I was an industry analyst, VP/service director in charge of document imaging and workflow at BIS Strategic Decisions, which became Giga (now part of Forrester). And before that, I was a principal developer of one of the first document imaging systems, Wang WIIS. And my first job out of school was at Polaroid, where I worked on digital still photography, microcontrollers for cameras, and also did a couple years in marketing.
