I built a strong community around the RTW trip which has continued to grow and develop across several social media channels and formats. I provide entertaining and informative video based content predominantly around motorcycles and our community, together with adventure travel and tech/kit reviews and tutorials.The mantra of 'Live Your Life' is the foundation of everything I do and has proven to be inspirational to those who follow it - including me! I undertook a 74,000 mile solo motorcycle trip, through 54 countries in 442 days, raising almost £15,000 for charity. In planning this trip, I built a considerable social media following, establishing a community who followed my journey. Following my return, I've continued to grow the TeapotOne brand where I promote a mantra of ‘Live Your Life’ through travel, motorcycles, and positive interaction. During this journey I learned things about myself that I never knew I possessed - my strength of mind, my determination to see a task through, my ability to adapt and overcome any situations, but also my need to engage and interact with people and learn what drives them. I thrive on positivity and love to give others inspiration to get out there and do their 'thing'!“Live Your Life” are the words spoken to me by my mum before she lost her battle with cancer, and catapulted me on this true adventure of a lifetime. Serving within this specialist team, adhering to exacting legal compliance requirements, I conduct covert patrols around high risk parties to identify, and mitigate the activity of, individuals potentially engaged in hostile reconnaissance. On identifying potential vulnerabilities, I drive improved protection protocols; continually developing further resilience. I deliver detection capability to ensure the safety of principals, support major events and identify counter terrorism activity. Managing operations, I brief and direct officers whilst actively deploying in effective response to continuous, diverse and fast evolving demands. I have proactively contributed to State Openings of Parliament, high profile dignitary visits to Parliament and governmental buildings, Remembrance Day parades and have provided active response to incursion attempts at Parliament and two recent terrorist attacks. I currently fulfil a control role, coordinating and monitoring the activity and direction of covert officers engaged in live situations; managing specialist and general policing radio channels. This role requires a fast, accurate and calm response to successfully undertake intelligence checks on individuals and vehicles of interest and liaise with numerous internal and external partners to ensure full awareness of threat and risk that make affect the diplomatic community.

I was tasked with the provision of protective armed security throughout high risk premises and the official establishments of countries and international organisations that are represented in the UK. I ensured the appropriate dissemination of intelligence, management of critical environments and compliance with exacting legal requirements. Within this sensitive and challenging role, I served a liaison point, ensuring resilient communication between diplomatic contacts and key government and police personnel. I provided consistent monitoring and understanding of evolving risk and vulnerability. This included the rapid deployment of a range of tactical measures and armed response to provide exceptional security around extreme risk individuals and detect, disrupt and deter terrorist activity. This challenging role required a calm, professional and approachable demeanour to reassure that, although heavily armed, I offered safety and not alarm to the general public. This high profile image often also attracted attention from individuals suffering from mental illness who posed a threat to themselves and those around them. This demanding position required the most measured approach to manage the incumbent considerations being armed carries. The ability to think quickly and accurately in heightened circumstances was essential knowing there may be a need to make split second judgement calls on situations and developing threats.I was involved in extreme risk incidents, including the 2017 London Bridge terrorist attacks; conducting emergency searches in conjunction with other firearms and military personnel.

I served in this fast response unit addressing challenging, dangerous and high pressure situations across London and the UK. I brought a calm and reasoned approach to manage demanding and heightened situations. I was tasked to gather, research and utilise intelligence and was engaged in protracted and challenging surveillance operations. I worked in liaison with a variety of partners, providing support to numerous units throughout the UK, including covert surveillance environments, counter terrorism commands, murder squads and specialist gang investigation units.

I undertook a range of training and development, affording me a foundation of effective enquiry, observation and personal interaction. In an operational setting, as part of a response team, I was tasked with the immediate management of critical incidents; often under intense pressure of time. I demonstrated the ability to manage a diversity of issues, influence widely and process information quickly and accurately. During this time, I was selected to work with a prisoner handling team. I was responsible for the interview, file preparation and charging of prisoners; working in liaison with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) to ensure full compliance and to ensure all intelligence and data was viable and presentable.

Along with three partners, I formed this company to provide website design and back end database integration. My role included proactive client liaison, understanding requirements and offering bespoke solutions. I utilised Macromedia website design software including Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash to produce multiple projects, successfully meeting often exacting time requirements and managing client expectations around possibilities and budgets.
