 Used C# in Visual Studio 2010 added extensive new functionality to an existing product that consists of a Winform application, Windows service, web service, and web site for the U.S. Air Force. The Winform application utilizes a Sybase Ultralight database that resides locally and syncs to the Source Of Record (SOR) Oracle database. The Windows service accesses the same Oracle database and uses the web service to access a third party web service to upload and download data to and from the USAF’s main aircraft maintenance database. Used C# with WPF in Visual Studio 2012 to take a subset of the functionality in the above Winforms application along with some new functionality to create a WPF application running on a Windows 8 tablet utilizing a Sybase Ultralight database that syncs to the same SOR Oracle database as the above application’s database.

 Supporting the USAF School of Medicine’s IH and RadioAnalytical Laboratories (USAFSAM/OEA) at Wright Patterson AFB in their mission by providing operational and maintenance support on the software tools used: a MOTS Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and a ColdFusion web site. The LIMS consists of an Access 2007 application with Access tables, macros and extensive VBA code linked to a SQL Server 2008 database with over 200 tables.  In the process of adding new features, especially the integration of a second lab - the Radioanalytical Laboratory - into the LIMS, I created/altered dozens of SQL Server 2008 Tables, Triggers, Constraints, Views, Functions and Stored Procedures. I also implemented encryption at the table field level to protect personal information (SSN) and created scripts to export data in XML format. Worked with the physists and chemists one on one in the requirements gathering for integrating the Radioananalytical Laboratory into the IH Chemistry LIMS.
