Reporting to the Senior Director of Reporting and Controls• Assist in the planning and execution of the transition of the Schneider’s Accounting staff and systems from Kitchener to Mississauga.• Learn and assist in the training of new staff on the Schneider’s In house Accounts Receivable system.• Assist with reconciling accounts and chasing information on unauthorized deductions.• Other items as requested. Reporting to Senior Vice President – Finance – 3 Direct Reports• Responsible for the standard costing systems at 5 primary processing poultry plants and 2 broiler chick hatcheries• Prepare, analysis and report on standard cost variances to the Vice President of Operations.

Reporting to Vice President of Finance - 7 Direct Reports• Responsible for General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, the Accounting System (BPCS & Hyperion), Budgeting Process and Forecasting for all internal and external needs.• Provide support and guidance for 7 direct reports, assist in setting their goals, quarterly and annual formal reviews including recommendations for their compensation. • Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of weekly, monthly and annual Financial results and Statistical data to Management and Corporate Office.• Audited and cheque signatory for cheque runs and wire transfers. • Review and modify polices and procedures to ensure conformance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act.• Implemented, maintained and monitored and employee expense report system (Gelco).• Tracking savings on Black Belt (process improvement) initiatives• Tracking and approval of Capital Expenditure Requests• Back up for salaried payroll
