I am a Business Advisor and an Infrastructure specialist. With experience across large operational roles as well as project delivery I apply this to solving whatever problems or challenges a business faces.I have significant international and Australian experience in major infrastructure projects in the areas of road, rail and aviation. I have been involved in Infrastructure projects in Australia, the UK, Ireland, Singapore, New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the United States.Having led a major consultancies Infrastructure business in Queensland and Australasia, I have a depth of experience in developing large multidisciplinary teams, complex studies and delivering major projects. My experience is in a variety of contracting arrangements including Design and Construct, Joint Venture, pure alliance, competitive alliance, Early Contractor Involvement, Early Tenderer Involvement and other collaborative frameworks, as well as managing contractor models and traditional consulting. I have significant experience in leadership positions on project Joint Venture boards, alliance leadership teams and steering committees including Brisbane Metro, Melbourne Metro, Auckland Light Rail, Stations, Systems, Trains, Operations and Maintenance (SSTOM), Airport Link, Transport Network Reconstruction Program and the Melbourne to Brisbane Inland Rail, Morley to Ellenbrook Rail upgrade and the Bruce Highway Upgrade project, Caloundra. I focus on creating successful, collaborative project teams, with behaviours which drive team performance. Supporting people and developing a culture is what drives me.With global and local experience, across diverse markets and in a variety of roles, I bring a perspective on delivery and how to keep the focus on project outcomes. I apply this knowledge particularly when developing the risks and opportunities. I've held corporate Director roles for private sector consultancies including Arup and Red Earth Engineering. I have a depth of understanding of corporate governance for privately owned companies and am an AICD graduate. I held the role of Chief Operating Officer for Arup in the Australasia Region where I was responsible for the day-to-day operations of Arup in Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, Malaysia and Indonesia. This comprised 3000 people across these jurisdictions. During 2020-21 I was also responsible for the day-to-day response to COVID 19 for Arup in these locations.At Red Earth Engineering I developed the Board and governance for a rapidly growing business and provide business advisory services.
