Issue clearances in accordance with current USACE HECP directives. Record hourly hydraulic data such as power and flood discharges, gross head, lake, and tailrace elevations. Maintain power-plant operating log and prepare power generation and transmission equipment operating reports. Prepare equipment malfunction reports, make inspections and from observation, determines whether equipment is operating properly. Monitor and check automatic acquisition of power, water, meteorological, hydrological data for accuracy and completeness. Use data to prepare reports and update operating record files. Train Power Plant Trades, and Shift Operators in HECP procedures.
