Being a good listener has not been a “natural” thing for me, but it has become an acquired skill over the years.• Acted as the applications manager in North America for the P.U.L.S.E. monitoring system since June of 2003. This involves working with owners, plant managers, and machine operators to integrate our system into their network and train them in the use of our data analytics to help improve efficiency in the plant by as much as 25%. This role has taught me to think on my feet and be able to implement and execute change order opportunities during an integration to enhance customer satisfaction. • As a result of ongoing customer focus, I was able to keep our annual software maintenance at a high rate, covering the operating expenses for the company. Any new sales were completely profit.• Managed daily office operations including purchasing, shipping & receiving. I negotiated pricing and fees with our vendors to improve profitability, while continuing enhancement of services. Even assembling computers component by component for as much as 30% cost savings.• Address Human Resource issues related to Canadian Immigration, including letters for employment validation certificates, requests for entry, and applications for work permits.• Conduct interviewing, hiring, training, and all onboarding for new employees and wrote the employee guidebook, and human resources manual.• Scheduled Service department, technical department, and applications department to be sure all aspects of a new order / installation ran like clockwork and the customer’s expectations were met.• Managed database of software licensing for all distributors worldwide.• Implemented and managed 401K plan.
