Grew up in Silicon Valley back when there were more fruit orchards than condominiums, and in the past few decades a lot has changed. When I was growing up, dad was the nerdy math teacher at my high school and mom would study math for fun at UC Berkeley. After high school, I wound up using my inherited numbers sense in game industries that combined skill and chance: first as a foosball entrepreneur and then as a poker dealer, dealing in almost a hundred larger tournament series in more than a dozen different states In my most recent career change, I am coming back home to Silicon Valley and getting trained in Science-Based Sales (TM). Having dealt cards to more than 10,000 people over the last decade I have really enjoyed connecting with so many people in my work. As a sales development representative, I am really looking forward to connecting to customers in a much more substantial way. I am very excited to be learning and growing in ways that never would have been possible in my previous careers.
