Created products for the President of the United States, Secretary of Defense, and Congress, resulting in increased personnel and funding for ships, air support, and ground forces. • Planned extraction of U.S. Embassy in Venezuela; developed military strategy in support of U.S. policy on Venezuela; designed and executed hospital ship deployments, treating nearly 68,000 patients in 12 countries.

• Critical role in developing the Army’s concept for fighting in the twenty-first century, driving innovative change and design for the future Army. • Led the Army's Multi-Domain Task Force Pilot Program, employing organic, joint and multi-national capabilities in all domains: air, sea, land, space, cyber, information environment, and human dimension. The success of the program resulted in the Chief of Staff of the Army expanding the pilot program and establishing plans for the Army to develop additional units. • Provided science and technology solutions to U.S. forces in Korea during a time of heightened alert; designed and established a headquarters prepared to evacuate U.S. citizens from Korea.

• Selected as Chief of Staff of forward deployed Division in Kandahar, conducting combat operations and transitioning a key military base to the Government of Afghanistan. • Established a forward operating base in Helmand Province, despite enemy opposition. • Led the training and certification of the 36th Infantry Division headquarters to assume the mission in Southern Afghanistan.

• Ranked in the top three battalion commanders of 36 in the first year of command.• Led an elite, combat ready 350-member team, prepared to deploy within 72 hours as a Rapid Reaction Force. • Led the Army’s Performance Triad Pilot Program to improve soldier performance. • Chosen to attend the High Performance Leader Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership.

• Planned, organized, and resourced a $243 million budget for Counter Terrorism.

• Coordinated U.S. government meetings with Pakistan military officials during a tense period in which Pakistan had closed the U.S. ground lines of support into Afghanistan. • Interfaced with the Offices of the Secretary of Defense, Pakistan Chief of Army Staff, Department of State, and Congress on issues of strategic importance for maintaining Pakistani support for US/Middle East policy.• Routinely briefed and provided input to the U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan.

• Planned the evacuation of 15,000 American citizens in two weeks as part of OPERATION UNIFIED RESPONSE, following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. • Advised future Colombian Chief of Defense on reorganizing the country’s Defeat FARC Campaign Plan, which led to the peace agreement between Colombia and the FARC after 50 years of conflict; received personal recognition from the Colombian government for my role. • Following the White House Strategy to Counter Transnational Organized Crime, developed the command’s concept of operation and coordinated with law enforcement agencies to synchronize efforts.
