I have many years of experience in the masonry concrete industry. As a veteran masonry contractor, I have performed the day to day activities of designing, selling, installing and repairing residential and commercial projects. I am a journeyman bricklayer, having completed my apprenticeship in 1975.As a manufactures representative, I worked for Oldcastle Superlite Block in Phoenix, Az, as the Keystone & Belgard sales representative as well as taking care of 16 different dealers and many masonry contractors.As a distributior representative, I have worked for a big box store as the manager of the contractors desk. I have also worked for a retaining wall licensor as the Western Territorial Sales Manager covering everything west if the Mississippi River. Most recently I was with Ewing Irrigation as the National Hardscape Products Manager.Since my appointment as the National Hardscape Manager for Ewing Irrigation, I have successfully developed the new Hardscape Division for the company, negotiated with many national vendor partners, hired an experienced devoted hardscape sales team that services 200 Ewing branches in 22 states. I have created a very specific hardscape training program for Ewing employees as well as for customers that include a basic paver & retaining wall class, as well as the NCMA and ICPI certiification courses and hardscape maintenance. Doing all this while grow sale in an industry that Ewing never had as part of their product offeres. I took Ewing from $0 sales to $1,000,000 in 2009, $3,000,000 in 2010 and over $7,000,000 in 2011. All this in the very worse economic times we have ever seen since the great depression and with a company that never been involved in any way with the concrete industry.MY GOALS:A long term national or international sales position.
