Lead writer for donor communications. with an emphasis on Major Gifts, while also providing executive communications for the CEO and Chief Philanthropy Officer. • Personally responsible for proposal development to support fundraising goals of $2M-$3M annually.• Implemented improvements to stewardship processes and tools that resulted in lapsed donors and pledge payments being restored to donor pipeline (total value: approx. $500,000).• Supported development of the Ontario Case for Support. I taught in the Departments of English and Professional Writing within the faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies since beginning my Ph.D studies at York in 1999. I was Contract Faculty between 2005 and 2010.

Led team of 20-30 people, responsible for motivating and equipping them to raise revenue while upholding the highest standards of professionalism in donor relations. In this capacity, I was responsible for building a high-performing donor relations and telefundraising team.• Utilized a fun but competitive team atmosphere• Raised approximately $500,000 in pledges and cash gifts

I designed and taught courses in English language fluency for Korean students of all ages and levels of ability. Topics I taught ranged from grammar and composition through to phonetics, English media literacy and conversational English.
