Senior Software Engineer
CurrentModel Processing Team:- Core Member of Generic Model Processing Platform (GMPP) Team, which provides the post-training model processing platform for majority of Meta’s current active production recommendation models- Lead on model processing side of Meta ads team’s incremental model publish project, which greatly improves model freshness of Meta’s current main ads late stage ranking models from hours to tens of minutes; delivered 20% of ads score/revenue gain for Meta ads team after launch- Design and solve challenge involving incremental publish project, including optimizing for publish performance while maintaining GMPP’s generic framework for other model processing use cases- Reliability POC for GMPP’s test performance, including improving test latency as well as release efficiency- Ramp up and guide new junior/senior team members for participating in the incremental publish projectRouting Protocol Team:- Design and improve route monitoring pipelines of Facebook Datacenters/Content Cache Networks, which includes transferring hundreds of millions of routes per pipeline to hundreds of clients- Design and implemented automatic unit tests and scaling tests of thousands of route monitoring services and their downstream users- Implement new routing protocol features that runs on all of FB datacenter switches- Perform oncall duties for debugging production issues with monitoring pipelines
