- Examines, verifies, assesses, makes, and communicates decisions, resolves problems with the applications and determines benefit entitlements.- Conducts fact-finding and gathers missing information or clarifies discrepancies with clients and employers, and partners and training institutions; makes decisions within clearly established procedures and guidelines on continuing eligibility based on new informationreceived and establishes over-payments and underpayments.- Manages the life cycle of benefit/service files; validates information submitted by clients and/or their representatives and employers, andpartners and training institutions are accurate; initiates amendments to database(s) accordingly.- Provides program-specific information on services and benefits to clients; and researches, interprets and explains program-specificlegislation, procedures and processes required to receive those services and/or benefits.- Refers cases as per clearly established procedures and guidelines, to the appropriate level for decision.- Identifies potential fraudulent information/activity and refers to appropriate unit for investigation.
