Have worked in broadcasting most of my career. In the mid 90's I developed an intense interest in computing and took classes at night while plotting a career change. The opportunity came at my then current employer, Bristol Broadcasting. My first project was Y2K compliance and upgrading from a Novell, coax cable 3 node LAN to a Windows NT, ethernet network. Many more projects followed until I had established a 200 node WAN joining 27 radio stations in four states.Having a sales and management background uniquely prepared me for an IT career in that I understand how a business operates and the importance of retaining clients. I have delivered strong results in information technology and sales management. I can rapidly improve existing technology as well as apply new technology to focus on business needs. I possess outstanding communication skills with the ability to educate users and management on the role of information technology. As a sales rep and sales manager, I developed excellent negotiation skills and applied them to IT. I am known for delivering projects that meet requirements, on time and on budget. I work well in a team or independently.
