Treasurer Emeritus
CurrentTreasurer Emeritus and founding board member (1995) of National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS). NIMS accredits programs that educate students and workers to NIMS standards. Programs are provided by high schools, community colleges, technical schools (both public and private), and by manufacturers. NIMS credentials individuals, certifying the candidate’s successful performance and related knowledge in one or more of NIMS’ 52 occupational credentials. Credentials are based on NIMS skill standards. Standards are for occupations related to CNC and manual machining, tool & die, mold, stamping, metalforming, machine building, and machine maintenance.
