I am the President of Docket Media LLC and the editor of its Securities Docket and Cybersecurity Docket publications. I am also the founder of the Securities Enforcement Forum events held annually in Washington, D.C., San Francisco/Silicon Valley and Chicago (and New York--coming February 2025!), as well as cybersecurity events including Incident Response Forum Masterclass, Incident Response Forum Ransomware and Incident Response Forum Europe. I also write the "Daily Update from Securities Docket" newsletter that goes out to over 6,000 readers. I am a former Senior Counsel with the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, and a former securities litigation and SEC enforcement partner with one of the world’s largest law firms (now known as DLA Piper). I was also previously a Vice President at Institutional Shareholder Services.From 2008-2016, I was a featured columnist for Compliance Week on securities enforcement and litigation issues and the author of Compliance Week’s “Enforcement Action” blog. From 2009-2013, I was the co-author of Law.com’s popular “Legal Blog Watch” column.
