Apply more than 30 years of energy and investor relations experience to assist clients with a full array of investor relations needs, including quarterly reporting and disclosure practices, communications and presentations. Provide SEC Reg. FD training for management teams and coaching for new investor relations representatives. Develop corporate emergency response plans as well as provide media training.

I managed IR activities for Columbia's master limited partnership (MLP) and general partner common stock. I contributed to the initial public offering of Columbia Pipeline Partners and the spin-off of Columbia Pipeline Group from NiSource, Inc. I developed IR strategies for both securities, as well as investor targeting, messaging, and various communications. I initiated an alternative financing strategy to fund CPG's significant growth inventory, resulting in a highly successful $1.4 billion secondary offering that eliminated financing requirements until mid-2017. Investors that I targeted and communicated with comprised approximately 70% of the equity raised.I also educated CPG's management team on MLP financial metrics, investor criteria and essential disclosures. I delivered regular updates to the Boards of Directors for both companies.

I moved to England to manage the IR program for BG Group, which was a FTSE 10 company operating in more than 20 countries. I delivered the company’s first global targeting effort; developed messaging, communications and a plan for executive outreach. Importantly, I repositioned our communications to provide more exposure to investors throughout the year.My responsibilities included overseeing 25 sell-side analysts and a staff of five IR professionals. I successfully led the IR program through a period with two CEO changes in a 13-month period, while resetting market expectations.I delivered strategic presentations to the Board of Directors and met with the Audit Committee every quarter.

Following El Paso's acquisition of Sonat Inc., I moved to Houston to manage IR activities for North America's largest interstate natural gas pipeline company. I developed messaging, investor targeting, communications and allocation of management time for investor outreach. For a three-year period, I managed all internal and external communications. This included a tumultuous 16-month period when the company's stock declined from $75 to $3 per share and narrowly avoided bankruptcy. During this time, I maintained investor confidence and credibility.I served as a key contributor to a successful defense in a proxy contest in 2003, followed by a significant communications program with a new CEO that progressed with the subsequent rebuilding of the company. My duties included being the chair of El Paso's corporate emergency response plan and a member of the disclosure and HS&E committees. I had significant interaction with the Board of Directors.My M&A activity included numerous acquisitions, including a $16 billion merger with The Coastal Corporation and more than 100 divestitures. I was also on a team that completed the work required for an announced spin-off of the E&P business, prior to receiving a bid from Kinder Morgan, Inc. I was recognized as one of the top-three investor relations professionals in industry from 2009 to 2012 by Institutional Investor Magazine.

Progressed from financial analyst to vice president in eight years, with significant M&A experience as El Paso grew its exploration & production business. I became Sonat's first person devoted to investor relations and remained in that capacity until the company was acquired by El Paso Corporation. I successfully expanded the company’s profile and dialogue with institutional investors, sell-side analysts and rating agencies. I regularly attended Board and committee meetings.
