Sport Competition Manager, responsible for the scope and delivery of the competition plan for the 2023 Wheelchair Rugby European Championship (WREuro23).The event will be held in the iconic Principality Stadium in Cardiff from the 3-7 May 2023 (with team training 1-2 May) and will act as a qualifier for the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024. Sport Competition Manager at the King Power Wheelchair Rugby 2019 Quadnations - an IWRF sanctioned event.Responsible for the smooth running of the competition during a week of training and then the 3 day event. One major highlight was testing the first time Referees have been mic'd up for a live TV game in this sport.Held at the Morningside Arena in Leicester, the competition saw Japan (current World Champions) take home Gold in advance of their home Paralympics next year. Great Britain took Silver, with France in the Bronze medal position.
