England Hockey Events AssistantWorking with a team of nine other event assistants, we help the England Hockey staff at the major domestic and international hockey events primarily hosted at the Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park. Summer 2019 also saw us deliver ground breaking fixtures at the Stoop, Twickenham, on a prototype temporary Olympic spec Polytan pitch in front of record breaking domestic crowds.Main responsibilities include Field of Play management, and assisting the awesome Hockeymaker volunteers in their day to day roles.

Sport Competition Manager, responsible for the scope and delivery of the competition plan for the 2023 Wheelchair Rugby European Championship (WREuro23).The event will be held in the iconic Principality Stadium in Cardiff from the 3-7 May 2023 (with team training 1-2 May) and will act as a qualifier for the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024. The top 8 ranked European teams will take part with both finalists automatically qualifying for Paris, in front of a passionate rugby-loving crowd in Cardiff and the event will also be live broadcast to showcase wheelchair rugby to a much broader audience.

Sport Competition Manager at the King Power Wheelchair Rugby 2019 Quadnations - an IWRF sanctioned event.Responsible for the smooth running of the competition during a week of training and then the 3 day event. One major highlight was testing the first time Referees have been mic'd up for a live TV game in this sport.Held at the Morningside Arena in Leicester, the competition saw Japan (current World Champions) take home Gold in advance of their home Paralympics next year. Great Britain took Silver, with France in the Bronze medal position. Canada came fourth team overall.A great venue, fantastic sports presentation from Curiosity 360 Productions, excellent TV coverage worldwide via the BBC, very professional officials and referees, awesome athletes and team management, the very talented Event Manager Martyn Salt running the show - and made possible by an incredible team of volunteers, "The Smashers".
