I have experience doing RTL design in both verilog and VHDL. I've done design and verification including verification in FPGA. Working for various large corporations I've design math blocks, filters, clock domain controls and other simple and complex blocks. While working for one bay area corp I was tasked to design and test using FPGA's, and also create PCB's to allow software development for new designs.I've done board design and bring up, including bare metal code.I currently use Allegro, Eagle and Altium. I also use many other low end packages to do very quick turn boards for testing and development. I have designed and completed layout, created FPGA RTL code and assembled boards. I've created stencils using various methods including laser cutter.In my various roles I've closely supported Marketing, developing boards, demo boxes, handhelds, prototypes, packaging and collateral. I've created systems that were used on the floor at CES to showcase hardware.When I get a new PCB back from assembly, I do the complete bring up from baremetal to whatever OS the Marketing team needs.
