Earlier, I was an appointed member of the City of Mountain View Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee (also chaired across three annual cycles), served as vice president of the California Station HOA and I was on the first City of Mountain View Mountain View Environmental Sustainability Task Force in the transportation working group (also the waste management working group) and dealt with editing tasks for our final report. When it's time for a break, I walk my dogs or get out exercising, and I love meeting with people to talk over just about anything meaningful (i.e., not "how about them Niners?" or "warm enough for you?" or "remember that time...").What is important to me: Relationships of all kinds, living sustainably, limiting consumption, being self sufficient, and acting for animal rights and the common good, taking in good books and movies, being awake, aware, and skeptical, keeping my pacing with an eye on the long haul.
