Leading an organization with $10M+ in revenue, he drove strategic product direction/development of next generation products to put Nexa 2 years ahead of competition (cancelled when Desjardins decided to shutdown Nexa), managed an 18-month wind-down of all clients/operations & currently helps manage Nexa’s platform risk during its transition to another platform.Earlier, as Nexa President, Penson WW ($21M revenue), Bruce maintained/expanded US market share by creating mechanisms driving on-time delivery; brought Nexa from $10M loss to break-even; refocused it into a product/customer centric organization; repaired/extended broken client relationships & actively managed Desjardins’ Nexa acquisition. Concurrently, Bruce served as Penson’s Global CIO, creating/leading a global, shared technology service & optimizing Penson’s technologies/resources.Previously, Bruce built/led a new team that improved the proprietary software, sustaining 5 years of profitability.Bruce co-founded Pavilion Technologies, served as Dev Mgr & participated in creating revenue generators whose success resulted in Rockwell Automation’s acquisition. He directed the team that created proprietary trading software whose success led to Penson’s acquisition of the software group.A co-author of 7 patents, Bruce earned a BS in Computer Eng from the University of SC.
