Bruce Gant is currently the President of SHARP HR Associates, a consulting firm specializing in executive coaching, training, development and succession planning to build additional leadership capabilities in your management team. Bruce has had extensive experience in coaching executives from the Director & VP level through senior management including leaders who are running 50B organizations. Current and past clients include Microsoft, Wal-Mart, Union Pacific, Tyco, Merck, National Beverage, NCCI, and Pacific Gas and Electric Co. Previously, Bruce has held executive positions at Citrix Systems, Sensormatic Electronics, and American Power Conversion. In each role, Bruce was a trusted advisor to the CEO and the executive team. As an HR leader, he was also responsible for the global planning, organizing and direction of all aspects of the human resources functions, including employment, management and employee development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. In each organization, Bruce focused on developing strategic business initiatives and establishing a work culture that supported the goals of the organization in addition to managing the ongoing HR operations. His global role included responsibility for employees worldwide with significant involvement in the Asia Pacific, Latin American and European regions, Bruce also worked as VP of HR Programs and Operations for the $12B Fire and Security business unit at Tyco International. His work there included developing new Global HR policies, Values and Ethics programs, and HR Compliance Programs for the 100,000 employees in the business unit.
