About Bruce Garfield

I am the Executive Director of Music Columbus, a non-profit leader, and a life long entertainment industry executive with a successful track record as the president of a major record label, artist manager, problem solver, and an outside the box creative thinker.Balancing core missions with monetary and long term objectives is my thing. I enjoy my current position as I give back to the City of Columbus and its' creative community some of the good that the music industry has bestowed upon me. I've always performed best in a fast paced environment, and think of myself as a passionate, resourceful, and ethical person who leads by example rather than by rank. Thankful that I've made my mark and my living by recognizing great talent on both sides of a microphone.It's been rumored that I have a keen ear and eye for recognizing talent, a deep understanding of brand building, and all facets of the music industry. I am both flattered and fortunate to have had many great artists and companies entrust me with their careers, and business ventures.
