As Director of Communications, I directed the design and implementation of all marketing, PR and communications to our congregation and community. At our peak, we had 17 Pastors, 22 ministries and 8 admins. I am responsible for design, print, mailings, PowerPoints, brochures, and all church monthly magazine.I also oversaw our internet strategy, including weekly e-mails, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, blogs, iTunes and podcasts. These enhanced our current member’s engagement with the church, and more effectively communicate to our global internet audience. By leveraging several SEO techniques, Trinity Church is nearly always at or near the top when someone searches for us on Google, Yahoo or Bing. We launched a new WordPress based website (www.trinityonline.org) and recently made the transition to a mobile compatible design. I also led the charge on our live-streaming and online giving strategies.

The Real Estate market in 2003 in Southern California was booming. My father, a seasoned real estate investor, asked me to join him. What an honor! After getting my licenses, we went to work. We organized our efforts with another father-son team around the functions of “Find it, Fund it, Fix it, Flip it or Fill it.” (I was the “Find It” guy). By working this way, we were able to grow our investment holdings from 30 to 140 properties in 18 months. This growth was more than we had expected and we were encouraged by our use of focused expertise and teamwork.
