He developed some of the first teleconferencing and distance learning applications and built corporate and private networks for Apple Computer, Tandy Corporation, Hilton Hotels, American Red Cross, and the largest satellite networks in the world for both hospital and religious organizations. Keystone acquired The Robert Wold Company combining the two leading broadcast satellite communications companies into the largest re-sale carrier of televised communications. The Society of Satellite Professionals awarded Hough the Pioneer in the Broadcast Satellite Industry Award.
