Once on-board, I discovered that Insight had 3000+ sales people, but did not have the services capability to install and maintain Citrix products. I created a business plan to leverage the technical resources of the existing Citrix channel as a virtual bench. I convinced smaller partners that they would be more profitable by allowing Insight to act as their services sales force. In this way; Insight, Citrix and the Citrix channel partners all benefited.Responsible for pre-sales support calls, as well as architecture and design of Citrix solutions.

Supported hypervisors are Citrix XenServer and VMware ESX. The web-based applications are written in Java and utilize the Tomcat application server and Derby database. The virtual appliance OS is Ubuntu Linux. Provided the architecture for the application and for the virtual appliance.Responsible for all developers -- including in-house and overseas out-sourced groups.Worked with enterprise and SMB customers to virtualize their environments and migrate and deploy to private and public cloud platforms.Worked with Sales on product placement, marketing and customer sales calls.
