I graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, focusing on energy and computational methods, and an interest in mechanical design. Since 2018 I have worked in simulation and mechanical design on diesel and electric vehicles for OEMs as well as from-the-ground-up mechanical design and development of power electronics for a tier-one supplier to major OEMs. I have thrived working at both a 100+ year old multi-national corporation as well as small start-ups in which quick decision making and wearing many hats is essential. I am a driven and organized individual with previous experience in technical problem solving and management. Some of my personal interests are photography, woodworking, skateboarding, camping, playing guitar, reading and traveling.

Research AssistantUniversity Of Washington Department Of Mechanical Engineering Jan 2018 - Dec 2018Worked with mechanical engineering faculty on two multi-semester projects as well as assisted in grant writing process and training students in additive manufacturing lab. One project was a collaboration with members of the Nelson Research Group in the University of Washington Chemistry department. In this research I designed various auxetic structures for bio-printing applications which I 3D printed via DIP printing using UV curable electrically-conductive hydrogels developed by the Nelson group. This work has been published under the title "3D Printing Ionogel Auxetic Frameworks for Stretchable Sensors" in Advanced Materials.In the other project I designed a syringe dispenser and assisted in integrating a 3D printer platform with existing high precision printer components to create a custom-designed high-precision 3D printer for prototyping and manufacturing flexible and micro-batteries. This project was still in progress at the time of my graduation.
