I have worked in the mortgage banking industry for 14 years and currently serve as a portfolio manager for healthcare loans secured by skilled nursing, senior housing, and medical office buildings. I am also an experienced underwriter, with more than $1B in new commitments, and have managed and serviced multifamily loans. As a member of a core team that created a new lending entity within GE Capital for HUD's 232 LEAN healthcare business, I maintained my role as a balance sheet underwriter and portfolio manager during the approval process. During the new business build phase, accomplishments included: • Became HUD-certified underwriter for the LEAN healthcare program • Created underwriting model and site visit form, in addition to training notes providing guidelines for each • Reviewed and made changes to various documents, including applications for HUD and Ginnie Mae approvals, internal memo for new business segment approval, and policies and procedures • Established relationships with Ginnie Mae investors, and worked with investors to set up trading accounts • Maintained document storage site for consultants and third party attorneys • Attended conferences and training seminars to remain current on LEAN program
