Sparta Systems is the leading provider of Quality Management Systems for the top 30 Life Science companies in the world. I joined the company as part of a new executive team tasked with doubling the company's value. My team and I accomplished this by scaling R&D capacity and skills significantly, launching new products, developing a strategic path to the cloud, and completely overhauling our engineering culture around innovation, ownership, quality delivery and continuous improvement.In addition, I was a frequent executive level sponsor to our largest customers such as Pfizer, J&J and Novartis and an industry speaker at Life Science conferences. I was highly involved in identifying and performing due-diligence on acquisition targets and had a key role pitching the company to investors which culminated in successful sales of the company to Thoma Bravo in 2014 and New Mountain Capital in 2017.

Responsible for supporting six IBM lab locations in the development and delivery of software products for IBM's Data Security, Compliance and Optimization portfolio. Provided centralized services including Development Infrastructure and Tools, Processes, Software Package and Release to Supply Chain, Budget and Vendor Relations. Also served as the Offering Team Lead (Portfolio Business Lead) where I coordinated cross-functional teams on our business plan for each product and release. I presented these plans to the IBM Executive team for sponsorship and approval. Involved in product and strategy decisions and served as lab advocate and sponsor for some of our largest customers.Served on IBM's Merger's & Acquisition's team as technical lead during the due diligence investigation of potential target acquisition.Became responsible for IBM Guardium development and the integration of this team into IBM.

Selected as IBM Subject Matter Expert for two month assignment in China to lead Quality Transformation Project at IBM's customer Huawei.● Performed Process Analysis at three Huawei locations in Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing China.● Developed a Quality Management System and executed a successful pilot of the system with Mobile Broadband Product team.● Conducted Engineering Best Practice training and consulting sessions with 8 different engineering teams. Topics included Agile, Test Driven Development, Requirements Management, Risk Management, Automated Testing, Configuration Management, Running Successful Betas, IP and Legal Concerns to name a few.● Delivered well-received final report and recommendations to senior executives. Have been requested by customer to return for extended project.

Responsible for all aspects of development of IBM Optim Software products addressing Enterprise Data Management needs of the ERP & CRM space. My team consists of approx. 50 software engineers and includes employees and multiple off-shore contractors. My joining IBM was via the acquisition of Princeton Softech.

ID Partners provided Promotional products as well as distribution logistics and fulfillment solutions for sales and marketing teams. Some of the customers enjoying greater efficiencies by using our solutions include Microsoft, GE and Commerce Bank. I shared 50% of the responsiblity of running the business at ID Partners with the CFO. My focus was on Information Technology, Software Development and Warehouse Operations. One of my primary goals was to position the company for a successful exit which was accomplished with a sale to Sunrise Identity (Seattle, WA).

My company Brainstorm Software Corporation created the original software that ID Partners built their Distribution Logistics strategy around. The software was later enhanced by a talented group of ID Partners staff members. I was proud to serve in guiding that group and the company in their future directions.

I founded and operated this software consulting company where we provided web applications and IT services for small to medium sized companies.
