About Bruce Kutinsky, Pharm.D.
I am passionate about growing small businesses. When I was completing my Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), I attended a compelling presentation about home infusion therapy and decided to start a business in that space. I also carved a new niche in specialty pharmacy, grew the business, and sold it to Option Care, which was then acquired by Walgreens. I then helped grow Akorn, a generic pharmaceutical manufacturer, to $1.1B in revenue (at its peak). After leaving Akorn, I co-founded an investment company whose goal was to purchase and grow businesses from owners looking for an exit or needing financing and guidance to continue to grow their companies. As a result of working within and owning these diverse organizations—from startup to large publicly traded corporations—I amassed tremendous knowledge and experience. I established best practices and executed lucrative deals, which allowed me to build a strong reputation for driving growth organically and through company and product acquisitions. I am now looking at sharing that knowledge by mentoring/advising small business owners wanting to accelerate their growth, structure operations and drive profitability.KEY CAREER SUCCESSES:✔Increased revenue from $86M to $1.1B through organic and inorganic growth.✔Grew and sold startup business to a publicly traded company.✔Launched 6 new successful business divisions and 2 new companies.✔Led multiple lucrative corporate and pharma product integrations.✔Launched an online platform to drive DTC sales and grew from $0 to $400K in sales in the first year. ✔Setup and managed a global supply chain and fulfillment network in the United States, Canada, UK, EU and Australia. As a consultant, I now leverage over 30 years of experience and connections to help businesses thrive and achieve their next level of success.
