Directing the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center at DePaul University, having been in business for over 35 years. Helping DePaul students and alumni develop their entrepreneurial skills and connecting them with the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in Chicago. As an early-stage entrepreneur, founded CrossCom National in 1981 to install and service telecommunications and data systems for large national retailers. CrossCom has grown over the past 35 years to become one of the leading IT services firms for retailers. Also, during this time established a CrossCom UK office which supported both US and UK retailers. In 2004, sold part of the company to a private equity firm to provide additional capital for growth and left the company to do business consulting. In 2012, returned to CrossCom National to work with the CEO and management team to further expand the sales and marketing efforts. In 2009, started a consulting practice to help other business owners with their business transition and financial planning strategies. As a Co-Founder of evolve, established a membership organization for business owners to enhance their value, harvest their wealth and live their life. Serving on corporate boards at CRP Industries in Cranbury, NJ and Pearson Packaging Systems in Spokane, WA. Working with family and non-family board members to continue growth in these middle market companies.Working in the non-profit area with Solidarity Bridge, an organization sending medical teams to Bolivia and also Living Water and their work with clean water programs in Third World countries. Serving on the Michigan State University Foundation Board, Spartan Innovations Committee at Michigan State, Board Member of the Marketing Advisory Board at Michigan State and a Member of the Advisory Board at the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center at DePaul University. Also joined Advisory Board at WorldChicago and elected to Board of Deacons at Fourth Presbyterian Church Chicago.
