I have worked offshore for more than 30 years in a safe, effective and team orientated manner.I have experience on a wide range of instrumentation as per my CV and am aware of latest technology via my involvement with the Hummingbird FPSO and the Ocean Vanguard NOV Cyber Drilling Upgrade project.I am a good communicator with a proactive outlook to safety. I have attended both DuPont “Stop for Supervisors” and Tap Root causal analysis training. I have experience of supervising a team of technicians during normal maintenance operations as well as commissioning experience on two FPSO projects and 8 years on the Shell Fulmar Alpha fixed installation.I was a focal point for the Star IPS CMMS, have used Maximo and Orion and currently use the NOV RigMS system. Part of my duties whilst working for PGS was scheduling, implementation and close-out of corrective and periodic maintenance. I was involved in updating generic work instructions to greater reflect the specific tasks and including material requirements and min/max stock levels. I am able to identify work scopes and compile work packs for maintenance and shutdown activities as well as third party engineering support. I am fully conversant with cost and ram analysis, spare part identification, prioritisation and ordering.Whilst working for Wood Group Engineering I spent some time onshore carrying out a major review of operating standards and how they were incorporated into our periodical maintenance programme. I identified shortfalls and corrected these by updating and/or creating new procedures to suit as part of the review team.I have been a lifeboat coxswain, fire team leader and member of the helideck crew.I have identified safety issues and always endeavoured to offer solutions.
