Responsible for managing customer relationships to acquire and develop new programs.Expanded Magnesium Division from 1 machine to 3 machines increasing annual sales from $200,000 to $4 million with profit margin of 48% by engineering component conversions to magnesium, launching new programs, and recruiting, training, and testing production requirements and implementing safety and preventative maintenance programs. Assumed role of Manager NA Sales & Marketing (May to Sept 08) during CCAA process, in addition to my current responsibilities, with an additional 7 salaried staff reporting including: Program Managers, Sales Account Managers and Reception plus looking after our External Rep. Agencies. Maintained all 300 customers throughout process by keeping them informed, drafting new agreements, and maintaining revised production schedules.submissions. Achieved $6 million in sales of new programs with life spans of 5 years as the single point of contact for sales, engineering, testing, quality submissions, start-up and production of magnesium, zinc and injected metal assembly components to various Delphi divisions.

Reported to the President & CEO and was the New Program single point of contact for FisherCast’s largest customer, Delphi, with world wide operations and sales of $10 million. Responsible for salaried staff including Quality Manager, Sales Account Manager & Product Engineer for designing & developing new Delphi programs. Worked with our external Rep Sales agents to acquire new programs. Responsible for tooling design, build, test & submissions.

Reduced tooling lead time from 18 weeks to 10 weeks for complex tooling and 7 days for prototype tooling using a Task Force to analyze operations, map processes, implement time and motion studies, and develop new processes.Implemented Synchronous Flow Management principles resulting in five fewer employees required, the sale of equipment, streamlining of manufacturing processes, increased tooling output by 40 tools, and a 6 week reduction in tooling lead time.
