This early Internet Platform supported online television in its earliest days, beginning in 1998, broadcasting Rice University Football games live over the Internet. We added over twenty universities around the country; did live broadcasts of the Indy 500 three years in a row to 88 countries; live broadcasts of Aviation Nation, the largest Air Show in the World held every year in Las Vegas; and ventured into live entertainment, live concerts, corporate communications, and emergency communications with strategic partners working with the federal government. I had the opportunity to work with university presidents, CEO's of major technology companies, music labels, technology organizations, and the U.S. Air Force, among others. It was an exciting time working for a startup that achieved more firsts in broadband communications than anyone else at the time.I also had the opportunity to speak on multiple industry panels, including many Digital Hollywood events, and others from New York to Los Angeles. I built an extensive network of contacts nationwide and have many close relationships that I maintain today. It was a wonderful career experience. I took a chance on an early stage technology company that didn't survive, but it was well worth it as it gave me rock solid business skills and experience I could have gotten no where else.
