I have had an interesting career path that includes a variety of roles in the for-profit business world, higher education, non-profit organizations, a Navy think-tank and federal government agency. I also ran my own consulting business for five years.
The theme that runs through them all is support.A short list of my tech skills includes: project planning and management, MDM end-point administration with Jamf and JumpCloud, patch management, shell scripting, technology evaluation and integration, budgeting, staff management, and end user support. Some interesting highlights of my life outside of technology include hot air ballooning (I crewed for about 10 years, have flown to 10,000 feet, and bungee jumped out of a balloon twice); hanging out with original members of Motown’s Funk Brothers; and scuba diving in Fiji. I also lost a game of backgammon against Rocky Aoki, the founder of the Benihana restaurant and food company.I'm a “returnee” of the 1982 AFS Intercultural Programs summer abroad, when I lived with a family in Jordan. I’ve always loved meeting new people from other places and backgrounds around the world.
Listed skills include Technical Support, System Administration, Troubleshooting, Mac Os X Server, and 36 others.
