With over 30 years of experience developing, planning and designing retirement communities and residential aged care facilities my commitment to the sector has resulted in my being employed by architects, by developers and for aged care providers.I worked 7 years at CHT Architects with key input to their aged care and retirement portfolios. I also have a long track record of operating as Principal in house Architect and Senior projectmanager for major developers such as Becton, Stockland and thespecialist retirement and aged care provider The Knowles Group (Arcare). At the Knowles Group I was Principal Architect project managing anddelivering at least six aged care projects for the Arcare residential aged care portfolioeach worth up to $20million As an Associate at Rothe Lowman Architects I led in house teams in thedelivery of retirement, residential and commercial projects, I drew new clients into thepractice and led the practice’s capability in retirement building and constructionrequirements. More generally I have designed and project managed the construction of various innercity medium density and commercial development projects worth between $10 and $50million.
